Cribl Lake 4.16.0 introduces configurable Lakehouse retention periods, more transparency to Lakehouse billing, and a few bug fixes.
Configurable Lakehouse Retention
You can now set a custom retention period for a Lakehouse, independently of the retention of its underlying Lake Dataset.
A Lake Dataset can retain data for up to 10 years, while its Lakehouse can retain up to 365 days (but not longer than the Dataset).
Lakehouse Storage Billing Indicator
Lakehouse storage now appears as a distinct FinOps Center item, improving transparency and giving you more granular cost attribution.
Charges are calculated by summing all data in a given Lakehouse. For pricing details, see Lakehouse Pricing.
