CVA Reference Library

The CVA reference library is your toolkit for building with Cribl. It provides the vetted building blocks, from basic infrastructure setups to specialized data-flow patterns, needed to design a reliable, scalable environment.

These validated patterns provide a framework for aligning deployments with vetted standards for scale and reliability.

Library Components

The library is organized into the following categories:

  • CVA Design Guide: A quick-reference matrix that maps common deployment archetypes to their specific topologies and required overlays. Start here to identify the right pattern for your requirements.
  • CVA Baseline Topologies: The core structural patterns for your environment, covering everything from single-instance setups to complex, multi-region distributed deployments.
  • Overlays: Modular architectural “layers” that can be applied to a baseline topology to solve specific requirements, such as Hub-and-Spoke routing, Edge-to-Stream bridging, or Geo-specific processing.
  • Operational Guardrails: Critical best practices, limits, and configuration constraints designed to ensure your architecture remains stable and performant under load.
