Receive conditional Notifications about your logs or metrics, using scheduled searches, Monitors, and Notification targets.

Cribl Search alerts you in two ways. Scheduled searches evaluate the results of a log query each time the search runs. Monitors watch a metric query and fire when the metric leaves its expected range.

Scheduled Searches ​

Schedule a search to run at a specific frequency.

Monitors ​

Create a Monitor (Preview) to alert when a metric crosses a threshold, changes sharply, behaves anomalously, or is forecast to breach a threshold. To route those alerts, see Manage Monitor Notifications.

Notifications ​

Set up a Notification target to send Notifications about your scheduled searches to:

• System Messages: Banner messages in the Cribl Search UI (the default target).
• Email messages.
• Amazon SNS topics.
• PagerDuty accounts.
• Slack channels.
• Webhook connections.
