This release corrects critical issues found in Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge 4.18.0. Cribl Search customers are not affected by these issues.

  • In Cribl Stream, Syslog sources using load-balanced TCP inputs with octet-counted framing could produce Invalid octet count: undefined errors, causing parser failure and connection loss. (CRIBL-41299)
  • In Cribl Stream and Cribl Edge, enabling source persistent queue (PQ) in smart mode caused the __inputId field to be set incorrectly, breaking route filters that matched on __inputId for Syslog and Splunk TCP sources. (CRIBL-41322)
  • In Cribl Stream, the App Platform scaffold script failed to download the OpenAPI spec during app creation due to incorrect curl flag formatting. (CRIBL-41320)
